Resume Tip: Copy One Of Your Friends Who Has A Good Job
Writing a good resume is no easy task. That said, it is an extremely important skill to have to make sure that potential employers look your way. And fortunately for you, we’ve got some great tips for you to make sure that your resume ends up on the top of the pile.
1. Ask one of your friends who has a good job if you can look at their resume
We all have at least one friend with a steady, good-paying job. How’d they get it? They probably have pretty good resume, right? It stands to reason.
2. Copy everything on their resume onto your resume
Now you’re cooking!
3. Make sure you change their name to your name!
This is the number one mistake people make when they are copying their successful friend’s resume. You’re not trying to get them another job! You’re trying to get a job for yourself! (Side note: Make sure you do the same thing with their email address and phone number. But don’t change their jobs to your former jobs! Then you’re completely defeating the purpose.)
And that’s it! You’ll be rolling in job offers before you know it.
