Job Service North Dakota experiences resume breach
BISMARCK, N.D. Job Service North Dakota says someone fraudulently created an employer account and gained access to the online resumes of job seekers.
The crooks didn’t get any social security numbers, but several people have been contacted by criminals claiming to be from the ND Community Foundation, Plantier Technologies, Ryan Construction and other companies.
They are instructing people looking for work to set up a job interview through Google Hangout for the possible purpose of gaining access to personal information.
Job Service cautions you not to respond to such a request, don’t share any information, and don’t cash any check that comes your way.
