As a family they enjoy going to the movies, bowling, and playing putt-putt. They love to spend time at the pool in the summer. Discipline with their school-age children looks like positive reinforcement and discussion of good and bad choices. The kids may loose privileges or get sent to their rooms. The parents hope their kids grow up to have a sense of responsibility and community, that they give to others and be well-rounded. They say that it is rewarding to see their kids happy, healthy, doing well in school and becoming independent.

He likes chess, karate, swimming, bowling, and board games. He will be entering 3rd grade in the fall. G7 is smart, funny, tough but warm. She enjoys arts & crafts, science projects and cooking. She is naturally athletic and is also in karate. She’s a tomboy and enjoys following in her brother’s footsteps. She will be entering 2nd grade in the fall. Both kids are tall and look older than they are. They are active, like imaginary play, swimming and going to the park. And, they do play together.
Pets: The family doesn’t have any pets.
Duties: After school duties would include transportation from school and to activities, basic care for the children, preparing easy dinners and cleaning up after, leading the kids to work on homework and shower before dinner. She should be organized and take initiative to manage without needing to be asked. Family has a cleaning lady that comes every other week. If nanny is working full-time in the summer, the kids keep busy! They are at the pool daily so the nanny must be a swimmer. They also do camps, Kings Island, the zoo, etc.
Hopes: The family hopes to find a nanny that is part of their team and invested in their kids’ success. They hope that the nanny has a great mix of routine and flexibility, who has self-awareness and able to respond to the kids’ needs. Someone that is fun but authoritative and understands that balance. Nanny should be able to go with the flow and make good decisions. The nanny should either live somewhat close or understand what it means to commute to West Chester.
