Hobbycraft opens new store in Bath creating 20 jobs
National craft retailer Hobbycraft is to open its next store in Bath, creating 20 jobs.
The arts and crafts specialists have recruited its new sales and management team ahead of its opening next weekend.
Hobbycraft is moving into its new 8,372sq ft shop in the Metro Retail Park, next to Lidl on Lower Bristol Road.
It is set to open on Saturday, July 15 with the first 100 customers to receive a free goody bag, including a crafty kit to get them started.
It has created 20 new jobs after receiving more than 140 applications.
Store manager Simon Elias said: “We can’t wait to open the doors to our Bath store and share our passion for arts and crafts with the Bath community. We’ve been working really hard to ensure that the store will be packed full of the most exciting crafting products, which will help our customers create some fantastic artistic projects.
“Our new colleagues are all dedicated crafters, and are ready to inspire and share their knowledge with locals of all crafting abilities. We’ll also be in touch with local artists, who will be invited to spend time at the store to showcase their own skills.”
